I have written previously about digital assets and the importance of having someone who can undertake the role of a "digital executor".
That individual will be able to access your digital accounts and preserve, protect, share and memorialize your digital assets according to your wishes.
One point to remember is that digital assets are just that, they are assets and they have value. When we think of digital assets that have value, what comes to mind are bit coin accounts.
But many people have a large store of assets held in music, movies, videos and other forms.
You can specify specific individuals who would be beneficiaries of those accounts. So when you think of digital assets, think beyond those photo albums stored on your computer. Often we have paid for access to other digital material that has value and can be inherited.
Digital Medical Information -
Remember, also to decide what you want to be done with your digital medical information. With the advent of more tele-medicine, individuals will have a large volume of medical and personal health information stored.
Decide who will take care of the privacy and security of those medical accounts. Assure that the person you want to execute your wishes has the capability and the information to access the accounts.
